Rachel Lopes works with porcelain for its finesse, its whiteness, its translucence. She likes to keep the earth with a raw appearance in places, in contrast with a satin enamel resulting from research carried out in her workshop. Utopian and immobile journeys to unknown geographies inspire her: dreamed landscapes at the tip of her fingers, imaginary cartography... She wishes to create everyday objects bringing softness, reverie and calm to their users.
