After various internships with basket makers as well as at the Vilaines les Rochers cooperative and at the Fayl Billot school, Valérie Lavaure opened her own workshop in 2006.

From a simple basket, she now participates in larger projects such as the development of art trails or by collaborating with architects but always with the aim of maintaining a balance between aesthetics and functionality.

All year round, Valérie offers introductory courses in traditional basketry.
